Lindsey is happily involved with her family in Boy Scouts, PTA, and Boys Choir of Springfield. Professionally, she began working for Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation in 2009. She believes in the mission of Community Action and enjoys being part of the movement to make life better with and for others.

What is OACAC?

In 1965, Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) was organized as a non-profit agency working toward alleviating the causes and conditions of poverty. Serving ten counties in Southwest Missouri, OACAC is proud to be part of a nationwide network of Community Action Agencies offering innovative means to meet the needs of the people we serve. Through historically proven programs to new, creative projects, OACAC works collaboratively to move the needle on poverty through its mission of enriching β€œthe lives of families and individuals within our communities by providing opportunities, offering assistance and empowering people to make positive change.” OACAC programs include Family Planning, Foster Grandparent Program, Head Start/Early Head Start, Housing Assistance, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Neighborhood Centers, and Weatherization.
